Jazz giggles softly as Samiel admits he's not very good at dancing. "I actually play myself, the saxophone." She says, turning her body slightly for a moment so he can see her cutie mark. "It's a lot more fun if there's other ponies there." The white mare agrees, nodding her head slightly. She looks over at Chord when the young mare speaks up, sounding much less nervous. "The Trans-Equestrian Orchestra is a good choice. And I think..." She trails off for a moment, thinking. "There's a Sapphire Shores concert coming up at the start of next month." She's not entirely sure if he'd be the sort to like Sapphire Shores' music, but he had asked.

As Samiel lowers his wings and relaxes from his stretch, he looks over to Chord, slightly relieved to find her more comfortable talking about music. In fact, the mention of the Trans-Equestrian Orchestra answers his question right away. 'A concert next week? Should be worth spectating, something classical does sound nice.' When Jazz mentions Sapphire Shores and her show next month, the Pegasus raises a hoof to his chin, "Sapphire Shores? I'm certain I've heard that name before. As for her music, I'm not certain I've heard that though; I better make a note of that for later." Samiel reaches under his wing and pulls out a small planner, another pen attached to its side. Pulling the pen out he writes down the Trans-Equestrian Orchestra, the show next week, and Sapphire Shores. Putting the planner back, Samiel looks back to the group, "Very good, that should cover my musical inquires..." He pauses to make sure no last minute questions pop into his head, "How much would a ticket cost? I'm sure they vary depending on seats, but overall? With a name like Trans-Equestrian Orchestra, their shows sound quite, substantial."

Chordonus puts a hoof on hrr chin, taking a moment to think. "Well I believe a regular ticket was about 50 bits and they're hard to get. Though there's also some V.I.P tickets available if you're willing to pay more." Chord says, adjusting her scarf a little. "But trust me,  they're worth it!" Chord then adds with a big smile.

Jazz is surprised to hear that Samiel doesn't know who Sapphire Shores is, since she's one of the most famous musicians in Equestria. Then again, he did have a bit of an accent, maybe he was foreign? Or he simply didn't pay much attention to popular music. That project of his probably took up most of his time... "She's pretty much number one on the charts for pop music." The white mare explains. "Tickets for her shows are kind of expensive. Anywhere from sixty to over a hundred bits, depending on seating." She giggles at Chord's sudden enthusiasm, nodding her head. "They are." She agrees with the purple pegasus. "I'd recommend them over Sapphire Shores honestly."

"Hmmm, I have been lacking some culture since my move here to Canterlot. I suppose next week's show should work quite nicely." Samiel retorts as he analyses the prices and dates in his head. "Alright, next week sounds perfect for a show. I might have to move some things around in my schedule..." The pegasus once again pulls out his planner and pen and opens up to a page. "Huh I'm sure  can... yes that works quite well." He shrugs and puts away his planner again before looking to the others, "Would you three like to join? I'll cover the tickets as thanks for your help with my project."

Chord's ears perk up as Samiel offers to take them to the concert. "R-Really? That'd be great!" Chord beams . She then lowers her head a bit and blushes. "I mean, i-if you're sure you want to pay..." She nervously adds, adjusting her scarf a bit in nervousness. Chord then looks over at Jazz. "A-are you guys going?" She asks, curious as to whether Clair was going or not.

Jazz's eyebrows rise in surprise at Samiel's offer. He'd really pay for tickets for all of them? They hadn't even really helped that much... Still, it's been awhile since she's seen them play, and she's sure going to concert will be a lot of fun. Then again, they'd only just met Samiel and don't know him very well. Chord is going though, the young mare immediately accepting the offer. When the purple pegasus asks if they're going to be going too, Jazz holds up a hoof in a "give me a moment" sort of gesture, and turns to Clair. At this point she's thinking she'll probably go along, but she'd like to get Clair's input too. "What do you think Clair?" She asks. "Do you want to go too?"

As the conversation trails away from what might be wrong with whom, the ball gets less squeezed and more just shifted in his hooves.  He's getting more and more of the opinion that Chord always stutters and stammers, though.  Maybe she should get some therapy or something.  Maybe if she used a stress ball, like him, or found some other way of relaxing.  Like a breathing exercise.  Or something.

He passes the stress ball down between his hind hooves so he can answer Jazz.  He puts his forehooves against her and taps out a short question.  WILL YOU BE GOING.  When she answers in the affirmative, he nods himself and presses his cheek against her.  THEN I WOULD LIKE TO GO TOO MOM.

Samiel remains silent as the three converse on whether or not they would like to go. Chord's excitement is quite apparent, and when Jazz and Clair agree to join in the Pegasus's ears perk up with enthusiasm, "Wonderful to hear! I shall first find the location of this orchestra before I make a purchase of any kind. Actually..." Samiel pauses, wondering just how this whole thing should be worked out. "Hmm, I suppose I can purchase the tickets, then meet you all before the concert begins at the entrance of... Where exactly is the location of this orchestra?"

Chord's ears perk up as Clair makes motions she assumes are him confirming that he's going. "You're going? That's great!" Chord excitedly says. She then looks at Clair and blushes, her ears going down. At a concert with Clair? They'd likely be sitting near each other... Chord shakes the thought away as Samiel asks where the concert is. "I believe its in Pinkerton Theater. Its over by Lincoln Road." Chord says, hoping she's right. "I think, anyways."

Jazz can only shake her head at Samiel's question. She hasn't really been paying attention to the Trans-Equestrian Orchestra lately, so she doesn't know where they're playing. Chord does though, thankfully, and says it's at the Pinkerton Theater. Jazz had been there a fair few times, even performed in it once or twice. "What time is the concert?"

Samiel nods, once again pulling out his pad and jotting down the address of the Pinkerton Theater before placing it again under his wing. "Alright, so that covers the location aspect." When Jazz asks what time the show will be, the stallion lightly shrugs, "I'm not sure exactly. However I should be working that day so I'll book a time later in the evening." Samiel pauses, adjusting the frames of his glasses as he does so before coming to a conclusion, "How about I find a time after... 7:30pm? I'll have tickets by that time so we all meet at the theater at 7:00 and that's when I'll hoof out your tickets. After that we just find the seats and wait for the show to begin."

Chordonus nods. "Th-that sounds good to me. I think the show starts at eight." She then turns to Jazz. 'So, have you seen them before?" Chord asks, curious.

"Seven sounds good." Jazz says, nodding slightly to Samiel. If the show was at eight that gave them plenty of time to find seats, and some wiggle room in case somepony was late. "Yeah, I've seen them a few times." She answers, turning to Chord. "Clair's been once too, it was a few years ago though."

Clair nods, passing the ball idly between his hind hooves.  It had been a while.  He's never been one to get out much, as he's had an aversion to being out in public for most of his life, but concerts and other performances where the attention of everypony is focused on somewhere that isn't him are more bearable.  The Trans-Equestrian Orchestra was rather good in his opinion, too.  Enough that he could still remember one of the songs from that performance...his hoof taps against his seat in an approximation of the rhythm of it.  It wasn't a perfect recollection, of course, and out of context with the rest of the song doesn't really mean much, but it's something.
