"Alright. Shouldn't be too far nor eat up much time to reach if we keep a strong spring in our step." Standing up and resisting the urge to do a quick hoof pump over Ryo having decided to linger a little longer, Mana brushed off a bit of grass that had decided to cling to him then straightened out his helmet and turned back towards the city streets to lead Ryo to their new destination.

"It shouldn't be that far anyway if memory serves." And memory did indeed serve as it did not in fact take long for the pair to reach the shop in question, the two entering through the shop with Ryo in the lead as Mana held the door for her, the bell above meant to signal the arrival of visitors ringing out as the two ponies stepped inside and Mana trotted for the front door in search of the shop's owner.

Thyme rolls out of the back room to her shop, a box of potions sitting in her lap, ready to be put on the shelves. She pauses when the bell rings, not yet having come out from behind the counter, and levitates the box to the counter so she can properly deal with the customer. She doesn't immediately recognize Mana as she turns to greet him and Ryo, the red stain on his face making him difficult to identify. "Hello, how can I help you?"

Ryo trotted after Mana, the part of the city they were in looked pretty familiar to her, but she had never been in the shop they were apparently going into now. Ryo hesitated shortly when Mana opened the door for her, thinking that it was supposed to be her turn to hold the door open, but maybe that only applied to residence doors, not to shop doors.

Once inside, Ryo looked at the shelves full of different kinds of bottles filled with different colored liquids and other substances, being somewhat fascinated by them. She followed Mana to the counter after the guard had entered the store too, leaving the fascinating bottles alone for now. When greeted by Thyme, Ryo looks at her sheepishly for a moment, before turning to Mana, who was the real customer here, and waited for him to greet Thyme first.

"Good afternoon, Mrs. Thyme," Mana greeted when he saw the owner of the shop come out to the main room, him expecting her to recognize him at first and feeling a touch confused when she didn't really seem to. At first he wondered how that was possible as he doubted Thunder's behavior hadn't left some kind of impression on Thyme the last time the two guards had visited, but then he remembered the reason he was here.

Oh. Right. His face was an entirely different color.

Duh.

"My name's Mana Burn, and this is Ryo," he introduced Ryo with a nod to the mare before moving on, "I came here not that long ago with another guard named Thunderclap. He was a pegasus and was suffering from a particularly bad stomach ache brought on by his own silliness if you recall?" the guard offered, hoping to jog the mare's memory.

"Oh, I'm sorry." She apologizes, nodding to Mana and feeling quite silly for not recognizing him immediately. She remembers Thunder's antics quite well, as well as the purchase the pegasus had made. "You'll be wanting some dye remover then? It's right over there." She points toward a small independent shelf near the dyes filled with bottles containing a clear liquid.

Ryo gives Thyme a small nod when Mana introduced her, accompanied by a "H-hi...". Ryo remained quiet while the two ponies discussed, but she turned her head towards the shelf when Thyme pointed at it, instantly turning back to Mana, a grin on her face. She didn't think they'd get the dye remover so easily, but was happy that Mana was able to get it. Maybe she has enough time to see Mana's face without the "warpaint"

Mana softly shook his head with a small smile, showing she had no reason to apologize as it would have been pretty impressive for her to have recognized him with all this dye splattered all over him.

"Exactly right," he replied to her assumption before looking towards the shelf she was pointing towards. He noticed Ryo's contagious grin as he mirrored it, though as he trotted towards the shelf to pick up a bottle of the remover he felt a bit of worry. It was a silly worry, but he couldn't help but think about how much he may end up missing the dye after it was gone and his cheeks were to heat up again around the mare. He didn't know how well his armor would go with a blush...

"And this remover will work both for my coat and my armor, correct?" Mana asked, taking a bottle and turning it over in his hooves, "How fast acting is it, and are there any special steps I should know about when it comes to its use?"

"It will work on anything that has the dye on it." Thyme answers, turning toward Ryo for a moment to give her a nod in return. "All you need to do is rub it onto the dyed areas and they'll return to normal. Be careful not to get it into your eyes though, it can cause irritation."

"Sounds pretty basic," Mana said, taking the bottle in his magic as he approached the counter then placed it down on its surface, "and how hard will it hit my wallet? Also, you wouldn't happen to recall that order I placed last I was here, do you? Have you had the chance to finish it yet, or is it still in the works? I have to say that after today I'm pretty eager to get my hooves on it."

"It's fifteen bits." Thyme answers, turning toward the back room even as Mana asks his second question. "Yes, I finished it yesterday. I'll be back in a moment." The green mare wheels herself back out of the main room of the shop, quickly going to the shelf she'd set aside Mana's order on and picking up the vial of murky green liquid. She heads back out and sets it down on the counter. "That's thirty-eight bits." She says, looking over at Ryo for a moment. So far the mare hadn't seemed to take much interest in the potions, and she was probably just tagging along while Mana ran an errand.

Mana wore a bit of an evil looking grin as Thyme brought out his order, the idea of revenge dancing in his mind for a few seconds as he imagined Thunder being pranked back for what he'd done to him and, more importantly, his wonderfully shiny armor. He cleared his throat, bringing a hoof up to his mouth as he did so as to hide his smile while forcing it to go away.

"Thank you," he said once his features were neutral again, his bit pouch being removed from under his armor and opened so as to pay the price for both of his items, the coins collecting into a couple of neat little stacks on the counter while the dye remover was taken again into his magic. As his money pouch was returned to where it came from a handkerchief was pulled out, it being used along with the dye remover as it uncorked then had its mouth pressed against the cloth and tilted, the then wet cloth being used to wipe away the dye on Mana's face. It took a few seconds for it to take full effect and have the red that had been staining his face for so long disappear from the spots he wiped, but sure enough his normally blue coat began to once again shine through as it lost its artificial color.

"So, how do I look?" he asked Ryo with a smile, turning his head to show his face while full well knowing that it still most likely had plenty of spots he'd missed, "Mrs. Thyme, you wouldn't happen to have a small mirror I could borrow, would you?"

Ryo had been observing all the different vials on the shelves, wondering, if some of them would help her with a little problem she had. She hadn't read that a potion would actually help a cutie mark to appear, but Ryo couldn't help but to spin ideas around in her head. This lead to Ryo giving Thyme a very sheepish look when the mare looked at her, before Ryo snapped out of her thoughts and gave Thyme a slightly nervous smile.

Ryo looked over at Mana when he was done cleaning his face and asked for "critique". "Much more like a n-normal pony..." Ryo said, giggling momentarily as she noticed Mana's nose was still wearing the red paint. "But i think you missed a s-spot... Or two..."

Thyme glances over at Ryo again as Mana applies the dye remover, the mare now seeming to be taking an interest in the potions. Maybe she'd be getting some business from the blue mare after all. She should finish with Mana first though. She does in fact have a mirror on hand, this not being the first time somepony has use either the remover or one of the dyes immediately. She scoops up the bits, takes a moment to count them out, then places them in the register. At the same time, she reaches down with her magic to take out a small hoof mirror from a shelf under the counter and presents it to Mana.

"Thank you," Mana gave Thyme a nod and smile in thanks as he accepted the mirror, the guard quickly getting back to work in trying to fix up the spots he'd missed on his face. Deciding to not stop with his face, Mana began work on his neck and wiped away at the dye that had managed to get under his armor, care being made towards not using too much so as to save enough for cleaning his armor once he was back home.

"Well this didn't take nearly as long as I was thinking it would," Mana said, casting another glance in Ryo's direction as he continued to clean his coat, "looks like we still have some time to goof around if you want. See anything around the shop that looks interesting to you?" his magic flared brighter for a brief couple of seconds as the special order he'd placed was taken from the counter and secured in his saddle bags.

Ryo had returned her attention to the potions, but Mana managed to grab it shortly after. Ryo smiled as Mana seemed to be about done with the dye remover, and they could still possibly do something together before she had to leave. But her expression turned from smiling to somewhat thoughtful and she threw a quick look around the store when asked if there was anything that interested her. "W-well... Uhm..." Ryo's thoughts returned to that "cutie mark potion", but she wasn't sure if she should ask Thyme about it, if there was one. What if she made herself look foolish?

"I-... Uhhh... Don't know...?" Ryo said, her curiosity about the possible potion made it sound more like a question than an answer.
