As I'm sure some, if not all of you, were aware, this weekend was the open server for the Legends of Equestia. For those not in the know, it's a work in progress MMO set in Equestria. It's still pre-alpha, so there's a lot of features missing and a few glitches here and there. I've seen a few people RPing on it, but I find the main use so far is for exploration and sight seeing. Like many, I made my OC, Ironfire, and had a bit of fun with the magic. In the end, I made Iron Fire, a pegasus varient, since that made exploring so much easier. Below are the screenshots I've managed to gather.

First up is an aerial shot of Ponyville.

Then Golden Oaks Library. There is an indoors, I've explored it previously, but it was inaccessible when I went around taking picture.

Sugar Cube Corner, of course. Party central for a lot of people, location of many crashes for others, myself included. The indoors was bugged in one of the downloads, so I had to redownload it all, and that seemed to fix it. The indoors plays party music and attracts a lot of crowds.

Carousel Boutique, inside and outside. For some reason there was always a handful of ponies inside that were just dancing whenever I visited. Not sure why.

The Ponyville school. If there's an indoors, I haven't seen it accessible yet.

Sweet Apple Acres. Not sure how much of that is actually explorable. They're fans of invisible walls.

The Cutie Mark Crusader's clubhouse. Again, if there's an indoors I've been unable to access it.

Moving on from Ponyville, we have the Everfree forest. Just a couple of random pictures there. The place is huge and with the map intentionally blank and the character icon just spinning around it's very easy to get lost in there for beginners. The place has these big hoof statues all over the place. I discovered that they will lead you back to the entrance. Made navigating so much easier.

Timberwolves and Diamond Dogs. Both hostile enemies. I would've gotten closer pictures, but combat is a little unforgiving when you're alone.

Zecora's hut. This was fun to try and find a second time. Though I can navigate to it easily enough now.

Poison Joke! Heh. Doesn't do anything. At least not yet.

the ruined castle. This was a bit of a tease. You can see it, but it's behind an invisible wall and supposed to be inaccesible. Unicorns' teleport spell allows them to get through the invisible wall, and pegasi have to abuse a glich and phase through a stone cliff face. I did it and I'm still a little unsure of how it works.

We ended up turning the place into a sort of members only stand-up comedy club. Was an interesting time.

Lastly, an aerial shot oc Canterlot. I would've taken more pictures, but my connection timed out and the login servers were down, preventing me from getting back online.

All in all, despite the lack of things to do, I had a fun time. I'm sorry for those that might have missed this wonderful opportunity, but I'll be following their work continuously and I'll be sure to let you all know the next time the servers go live.
