Grateful that the boulder was gone, Dais could finally turn his attention to his forehoof properly. It appeared to be wedged into the ground somehow, around a patch of relatively hard soil. With an extraordinary feat of pony elasticity, Dais turned his whole body around and literally bucked his hoof out of the hole. His hoof came out with the sort of pop sound effect you'd hear if a wine bottle was opened.

An angry looking family of rabbits sped right out of the hole after it, brandishing tiny pitchforks and shovels in their paws.
"Oh - sorry folks" said Dais with a slight giggle, shaking his hoof which was still sore from being trapped.
The rabbits held up their noses and hopped back into their den.

It was only then that the realization dawned on Dais. "Wow Carri" he said sincerely "Thanks for not dropping that huge boulder on top of me. That would have really hurt. Not to mention that you were the only one to help me fetch those sticks. I guess I owe you one favor. Come on, what would you like?"

"Well of course I wouldn't drop a boulder on you, that'd be silly." Carri smiles, "Though I still do wonder why Brash wants you to have so many..."

Carri begins to think on Dais's offer, squinting her eyes. "Well, we're friends so I'd say you don't owe me a thing. The whole getting the sticks squished under a boulder thing was my fault anyway."

Carri gasps and her eyes go wide, noticing that she's most certainly forgotten something. Her day was packed full of activities but she couldn't remember what she was supposed to do next. "Oh no!" She pats her vest down but only finds the boulder delivery instructions and some gripping hooks. "I've lost my schedule!"

Dais already had his best Sherlock Holmes costume on. He blew a few bubbles from his pipe and lightly wiped his magnifying glass clean before responding.

"Very well" he announced "As a good friend, and thankful pony who owes their life to you, I shall help you find your schedule!"

Dais looked to his left. "Can't see anything obvious over there...". Then he looked to his right. "Nothing over there either..."

After looking confused for a few moments, Dais asked "Ummm... what does your schedule look like?"

"Well, It's a piece of paper..." Carri raises a hoof to show she's thinking, "Oh, and it's got numbers and words on it." Satisfied with her description she puts her hoof down and smiles.

With Dais's new attire Carri finds it unlikely he'll require much assistance but pats down her vest again and starts looking around.

Unknown to Carri she left the schedule at her home when she was too focused on going over her delivery instructions.

"Hmmm..." Dais thought aloud, blowing another load of bubbles out of his pipe "I think I've seen a schedule like that before... but where?"

"Alright" he said a little louder, in the direction of Carri "So where else have you been today? Let's make a list of places to search. Hopefully we can get it all done by five so we won't miss the demolition of Brash's home."

Before Carri could answer, Dais already had his magnifying glass out and was investigating various nooks and crannies in the area.

"Well," Carri starts as she pushes aside some tall grass, "I had it at home, when Brash gave it to me," She then gets distracted by a ladybug and watches it, "Then I went to Rambling Rock Canyon for a few boulders, and I brought one back here."

Carri's usual fashion of securing pieces of paper made them pretty hard to lose in flight but she didn't want to rule anything out. "I could've lost it anywhere!" She says with slight alarm, scaring away the ladybug as she raises her head.

Then the time of the house demolition rang through her mind and she froze, would she have enough time to get her stuff out? Should she forget her schedule and get to work on moving out? Was the demolition and a time for her to move her stuff on the schedule?

"Alright then, no time to waste!" declared Dais "I'll take Rambling Rock Canyon, you check around here and your home. Then we'll meet up again at the demolition site. Sound good?"

"Oh, well my house is the demolition site," Carri realizes that moving out would means her plans for starting her own business might have to halt for a bit as well as likely separating from Brash, "So I guess I'll be there... movin' my stuff out." She says as she solemnly takes flight, only a couple feet off the ground and heads home.

Her head hanging listlessly she remembers she's supposed to check the park first so she turns back and scans the ground with her drooped head, not making much progress due to her slow 'n low flight.

"Awesome!" exclaimed Dais joyously, completely oblivious to Carri's sulking "I'll be off then. Quite a long way to the canyon. Catch you later!"

And with that, Dais strutted away.
