"See? I told you the owner would be here..." Golden said, motioning towards the voice. She then moved towards the counter to wait.

"Yeah... I knew that..." Spring mumbled, moving to the counter as well. She unbelted one of her saddlebags, and lifted it to the counter. The two waited for Ironfire to appear to the store front, Golden leaning to the counter, and Spring making sure she had everything for the order. Once Iron did appear, and he introduced himself, Spring springed into discussion, and began to talk "Hello Mister Fire. I'm Spring Flower. And this here is Golden Gear. We are here to get Golden here suited up. You do customized armor, right? I hope you do, because i forgot to ask about that beforehand..." Golden remained quiet, as she didn't know what they were there to get exactly. She just knew it was an armor set of somekind for her.

Spring and Golden made their way through the now much more busier market square. Many sorries, and apologies were given, as they pushed through the crowd. "This place got crowded quickly... How far is this smith were going to see?"

"Not far! Sorry... Just off the main street and- My bad... And to the left, i think... I didn't see you there..." Golden wasn't as vocal with her apologies. She simply didn't want to address every single pony she bumped into. Once they got off the main street, the trek became much easier.

After good ten minutes of walking, they were finally closing in to their destination. "Just behind here- Umfph!" Spring ran into an older looking stallion, as she turned the final corner. "I'm sorry sir! Are you okay?" Spring hurried to help the older pony up, but before she could even try to offer a hoof, the pony was on his hooves already. "No thanks young one... I'm fine..." Without any further words, the old pony continued on his way.

"Surprisingly fit for such an old pony..." Golden commented. "He looked 40 years older than he probably was..." To Golden's glee, they arrived to the forge few steps later. Spring stepped up to the door, and gave it a firm, three knocks. Golden raised her eyebrow, then walked over to the door, pushing it open and entering the forge "It's a store Spring... You don't need to knock here..."

"Hmph... I just wanted to be polite..." Spring crunched her nose, before following Golden inside. The bell above the door chimed a jingle, but there was nopony to be seen behind the counter. "See? We should have knocked and waited. Maybe the owner isn't here?"

"You really think they would leave the door open, if they were to leave their forge?" Golden asked with a raised eyebrow. "Now stop worrying and wait..."

"It is real, not a lie" Spring assured. She smiled as Golden signed, finally getting her sister aboard the vanguard. "Cobalt will be transferred, after you have shown what you can do to the captain. We still need her signature to this paper." Spring took back the paper and the pen, placing them back to her pouch. "But the spot is already prepared." Spring turned around, to head to her next destination. "Captain ordered me to take you to a smith, in case i'd be able to get you to join. There you will get your own armor made for you." Spring began to hop away, the usual spring in her steps. "Oh, and Golden. "Welcome to the Vanguard" Spring did a salute, waiting for Golden to follow her.

"They deemed it worth it, if you can provide us the level of skill i have told them you have. Which i'm sure you do, and you have." Spring said proudly. "We can get the paper work done at once, if i was able to change your mind." Spring pulled a paper form and a pen from her pouch, holding them out for Golden

"Glad you like it! I came up with it myself, on the spot!" Spring chimed, causing Golden to wonder, if the earth pony got her painfully obvious sarcasm at all. "Oh, but dear Golden. I'm here with a new offer. After our last discussion, i told the Captain your reason for declining, and she told me she would try to pull some strings, and she managed to arrange this." Spring opens one of her many pouches, and pulls a rolled parchment out, offering it to Golden.

"Awww... Come on sister... Don't be like that..." Spring dusted herself off after getting picked up by Golden. She wasn't done yet though, and hopped after Golden, as if nothing happened at all only few minutes ago. Spring happily chirps Golden her answer "I'm here to invite you to join The Sorrow's End vanguard unit as our team's engineer. A pick recommended by me, and approved by the captain! Assuming you can pass her test... That is... But, i swear, that no filly scouts are involved in our activies. We can even refrain from buying their cookies, if that is what it takes to get you in" Spring finishes her little speech by leaving a wide grin on her face

"Very well." White says, loosely wrapping the weapons in the cloth she brought them in with. "That is good enough. Over a week would have been a bit worse. I leave this all here, and bring you the payment when i retrieve the weapons." White heads towards the door. "I let you two get back to your things. We can discuss that commission once you've done your research. Oh, by the way." White turned back to Iron "Leave my tab open. If my colleague succeeds in what she ventured out to do, you'll have more customers soon." With that, White turned back towards the door, greeted Foxtrot on her way out with a simple nod, and disappeared back to the crowd of the city

White Wind listened Iron listing the prices, giving a nod as confirmation that she accepts it after each number was spoken. At the unsure answer on the exotic request, White just shook her head. "Don't sweat it. I already told you that it's not in a hurry. I can hear your estimated price when i retrieve these three. How's your schedule? When do you think you can get these three done?"

White Wind listened as Iron talked about the weapon on the parchment. She wasn't sure, if the smith was talking to her, or just generally thinking out loud. White could hear the excited tone in Iron's voice. "Sound like i did come to the right smith. I will gladly leave that project to your hooves." White says, pointing at the parchment. "Don't overwork yourself with that though. It's not in a hurry." White turned back to the table. "These two should preferably be maintained as fast as possible." She pointed at the two twin swords on the table.

"How much do i owe you for these?"

"As of now, it would only remain as a decorative weapon. From what i was told, it is an old ceremonial blade of somekind. It's origin and purpose are unknown to me, however. Do as you best see fit. But the weapons look, in this case is more important, than it's durability."

White considered it as an accepted order, as she moved on to the next item on the unrolled cloth. She picked up a rolled up parchment, untied a small string around it and rolled it open. "This, was found alonside that old blade. I got the text roughly translated." White pushed the parchment towards Iron "This weapon's design fascinates the Royal guard. If we understood this correctly, the blade is supposed to channel both fire and ice. What do you think?" White offered the parchment to Iron. The parchment's original text is written in some weird language. It had later added scribbling on it, some sentenced written here and there, and in the corner was list of materials the blade could potentially be made out of. The list had listed both ice and fire crystals as possible options, along with ice and fire imbued metals. In the middle of the parchment, was a drawn picture of the weapon. There was no mention about enchantments, this indicating that the sword is supposed to get it's power from the materials it's made out of.

"understood" White nodded "As long as your work is as good as i've heard, you will have another satisfied customer." At Iron's question, White grabbed a rope holding the bundle together in her mouth, and pulled the knot open. She gave the bundle a push, this causing it to roll open, while keeping it's contents quite organized. First in the line was two sheathed swords. White picked one of them up, and unsheathed it. "First things first. I need these two sharpened. And preferably re-bind the handles. Like they are now, these parts left bare." White pointed at two, bare spots in the handle, that showed scraping marks on them. The handle was only binded in the middle. White returned the sword in it's sheath, and returned it with it's identical twin on the table.

"Then we have this." The mare picked up quite beaten up blade from the table, that was clearly broken in half, the tip of the blade was nowhere to be seen. The rest of the blade had many notches in it, but the finely crafted decorations were still visible on the hoofguard, and the bottom of the blade "Think you can do anything about this one? It was found recently, and we hoped it would still be restorable."

White Wind took a look around while the two discussed. She didn't pay the conversation any mind, as it didn't concern her. She observed a set of swords on the wall, when Ironfire caught her attention with his greeting. "Good day" White Wind greeted back, taking a quick glance at the other unicorn, who went to check out the wares set on display, before turning back to the blacksmith "Ironfire, i assume." White said, extending her hoof for a quick, formal shake. "White Wind. You were the recommended smith to come to with weapon maintenance, and a little bit more exotic commissions." White took another glance at the other unicorn in the room, before asking "Am i interrupting something? I can wait, if you two were in the middle of something"

The bell above the door rings, as an armored white pegasus pushes the door open and enters the forge. She's carrying something on her back, wrapped in a cloth to keep everything together. It was obvious from few pointy objects poking out from under the cloth, that she was at least carrying weapons with her. She placed the package on the counter, and waited, as the blacksmith she came to meet seemed to have another customer at the moment.

Spring Flower followed the brown mare all the way through the market square, intending to surprise her with a little family reunion. Little did she know, that Golden was well aware of her presence. Spring constantly had to apologize to the merchants, as she knocked down few things with every transition of hiding spot. Wearing her full armor, minus the helmet didn't help her at all. After apologizing for knocking over a pyramid of some kind of magic trick cans, Spring spots Golden leaving the market street, and runs after her. She takes a sharp turn to the left, only to get tripped by something. After scrambling forward for a moment, and falling down, Spring turned to look around, to see the pony she was chasing. "Hi Golden... Long time no see..."
