Canterlot / Suit up!
« Last post by Sorrows End on May 19, 2015, 04:05:51 pm »Spring and Golden made their way through the now much more busier market square. Many sorries, and apologies were given, as they pushed through the crowd. "This place got crowded quickly... How far is this smith were going to see?"
"Not far! Sorry... Just off the main street and- My bad... And to the left, i think... I didn't see you there..." Golden wasn't as vocal with her apologies. She simply didn't want to address every single pony she bumped into. Once they got off the main street, the trek became much easier.
After good ten minutes of walking, they were finally closing in to their destination. "Just behind here- Umfph!" Spring ran into an older looking stallion, as she turned the final corner. "I'm sorry sir! Are you okay?" Spring hurried to help the older pony up, but before she could even try to offer a hoof, the pony was on his hooves already. "No thanks young one... I'm fine..." Without any further words, the old pony continued on his way.
"Surprisingly fit for such an old pony..." Golden commented. "He looked 40 years older than he probably was..." To Golden's glee, they arrived to the forge few steps later. Spring stepped up to the door, and gave it a firm, three knocks. Golden raised her eyebrow, then walked over to the door, pushing it open and entering the forge "It's a store Spring... You don't need to knock here..."
"Hmph... I just wanted to be polite..." Spring crunched her nose, before following Golden inside. The bell above the door chimed a jingle, but there was nopony to be seen behind the counter. "See? We should have knocked and waited. Maybe the owner isn't here?"
"You really think they would leave the door open, if they were to leave their forge?" Golden asked with a raised eyebrow. "Now stop worrying and wait..."
